Biography

For Greater Good is a Belgium-based ambient music project, trying to describe the world of today by means of ambient soundscapes mixed with everyday samples.

Core-members are Izzy and samdevos, and regularly features guest musicians. Working together with various artists they create a visual and aural setting to emerge people in their post industrial soundscapes.

Founded in 2004, the band self-released their debut album “For Greater Good” in july 2008.

In december 2010 they brought out a collaborative album between FGG and Japanese Cult-writer Kenji Siratori simply titled “ForGreaterGood+KenjiSiratori”.

Their sound is often gloomy, sometimes uplifting, but always with a sparkle of hope for the future.
