Licensing deal – availability in iTunes, Spotify and much more!

Well, an update was long overdue, so here we go.

FOR GREATER GOOD is proud to have an agreement with CLUSTER PARK.
What does that mean for you, our dear fans?
Well, Cluster-Park, founded in 2017, is specialised in global music distribution (digital, vinyl, CD), licensing, publishing and synchronisation. Additionally Cluster-Park offers services in digital marketing, media promotion, legal advice, catalogue management and artist & repertoire support.
In practice, this means that in the first place we will be available on a lot of digital platforms.
There was the Bandcamp page of course, but that’s just the tip of the iceberg.
Now, the deal with Cluster Park will see us pop up on iTunes, Deezer, Spotify and many more. All our albums (5 up till now) are available for listening, buying and downloading. Click on the source of your choice in this post and bam, you are there! If more are added, we will keep you all updated.
Ain’t that great?

If that’s not enough already, we now also have a dedicated YouTube channel. Here you can listen to all the albums and songs as well, and give them a big thumbs up. It is also very convenient to spread the word around on Facebook and the like.

As a fan, you can really help us by listening to our music, liking, sharing and reviewing. It won’t take much of your time, but it would be a big help for us.

Thanks in advance and enjoy!

For Greater Good song featured on dark ambient compilation

Priapus Twenty-Three is a very decent fellow.
Twice a year, he releases what he finds to be the crême de la crême of Dark Ambient.
And this year, For Greater Good is featured on Volume 4 with our soundscape-track “Rusted Revenge”!
Aired only once before on the “You Are Here”-compilation in abridged version, this is the full length soundtrack to an imaginary MechWarrior game.
Check it out here, the download is a Pay As You Please and also features some very fine bands such as Desiderii Marginis, Atrium Carceri, Akoustik Timbre Frekuency and ASBAAR.

How to buy our cd’s and digital downloads

The last couple of weeks we got a lot of questions about sales points and availability of our cd’s so here is a summary…

Both our self-titled debut album and our collaboration-cd with Kenji Siratori are still available for purchase, either as CD or as digital download, or both!

The first demo ‘Lethargy’ is sold out, but can still be downloaded as digital download on our Bandcamp page here.

The self-titled debut can be bought on its own Bandcamp page, or as digital download on iTunes.

The cd For Greater Good + Kenji Siratori you can find on this dedicated Bandcamp page, or also as digital download on iTunes.

Digital downloads are available on eMusic and Spotify as well, just search for “For Greater Good”, of course.

And if all else fails, you can still send us an email at info @ forgreatergood.be

Some Belgian shops have copies of our cd’s available: Wool-e-shop (Ghent – festivals) and Walhalla Records (Antwerp)

International distro is, among others, done by Old Europa Café (Italy), Klangkurier (Switzerland), Cold Spring (UK) and Dark Music Domain (USA)

You see, enough channels to buy our products and to support us, and no excuse anymore to postpone a purchase! ;-)

On Bandcamp, you can pre-listen all our songs, so no surprises! You can also reach our Bandcamp page by clicking the respective album covers in the right-hand column of this website. WYHIWYG!

Summer Darkness 2011, thanks for having us.

For Greater Good would like to thank some people.

First of all the organisers of the excellent Summer Darkness 2011 Festival in the city of Utrecht for having us. On Classic Sunday 31st of July 2011 we opened the festival that also featured headliners as The Neon Judgement, Nitzer Ebb and Killing Joke. We had a great time playing in this nice hall (Spiegelbar, Tivoli), good sound, excellent projections and nice lighting-setup with a friendly and very helpful crew.

Secondly of course the audience which were there in good numbers at this early hour.  Also to guest-musician Peter Geysels on bass-clarinet, flute and clarinets, for bringing his talent and creativity to the table. And soundengineer Mark Burghgraeve for a great mix and doubling as light technician, you rock!

Last but not least thanks and kisses to An and Krisje for being the best merchandise crew anyone could hope for.

Comments afterwards were even a bit overwhelming. The good kind of overwhelming, the kind that gives the postive energy and vibe to quickly get back into the studio making more music.

Setlist was: Ossetian Ossuary – Le Jugement Du Roi En Jaune – Orbit – Love Your Terrorist – Distress – Insane Asylum – DTFN –  Ihtyll
