“… Unfolds” EP release

We gave you a hint some time ago, an now it finally happened.

After a hiatus of a couple of years, For Greater Good is set to release the “…Unfolds” EP, containing four new songs.

The EP is licensed under Purple People Park which is a part of Cluster Park.

You can listen to, and buy the new EP here:

We do hope you like what you hear, and thank you all for the support throughout the years!

Time for a new release 2020

For Greater Good are near the end of mixing a new EP which will see the light of day very soon. The administration is being done as we speak, as is the mastering and artwork.

The EP will contain 4 songs previously unreleased (some of them were played live already tho) and will be in that typical FGG style, which means eh… not typical at all.

Expect styles ranging from neoclassical to ambient, electronic, harsh electro, triphop, glitch, soundscape and found sounds.

Stay tuned, stay inside, and above all, stay SAFE.

Searching… for the perfect mix… EP 2020

What a nice show yesterday, and what a cool bunch of colleagues, crowd and crew!

Big thanks to all people involved with OMS, and to all the bands! Had some nice talks and some interesting discussions, and we saw some very good performances as well! Also big cheer for the people behind the bar for keeping up with us ;)

Up to the next one!

Summer Darkness 2011, thanks for having us.

For Greater Good would like to thank some people.

First of all the organisers of the excellent Summer Darkness 2011 Festival in the city of Utrecht for having us. On Classic Sunday 31st of July 2011 we opened the festival that also featured headliners as The Neon Judgement, Nitzer Ebb and Killing Joke. We had a great time playing in this nice hall (Spiegelbar, Tivoli), good sound, excellent projections and nice lighting-setup with a friendly and very helpful crew.

Secondly of course the audience which were there in good numbers at this early hour.  Also to guest-musician Peter Geysels on bass-clarinet, flute and clarinets, for bringing his talent and creativity to the table. And soundengineer Mark Burghgraeve for a great mix and doubling as light technician, you rock!

Last but not least thanks and kisses to An and Krisje for being the best merchandise crew anyone could hope for.

Comments afterwards were even a bit overwhelming. The good kind of overwhelming, the kind that gives the postive energy and vibe to quickly get back into the studio making more music.

Setlist was: Ossetian Ossuary – Le Jugement Du Roi En Jaune – Orbit – Love Your Terrorist – Distress – Insane Asylum – DTFN –  Ihtyll
