For Greater Good Remixed & Reworked – Batch 7!

Here we are with the last three remixes and reworks for this year! There are still more to come, but with the holidays coming, we decided to take a small break after this batch. The holiday season is a time for family matters and festivities, after all.

So, the final three for this year and we will go out with a bang!

– Giving Distress a Roel Butzen-makeover, making it more danceable than ever!
Distress (Roel Butzen Remix)

– Another harsh Love Your Terrorist remake, this time by Liquid G.’s noisier side-project Maxx:Impact!
Love Your Terrorist (Maxx:Impact Mix)

– A beautifully evolving tribal-ambient take on DTFN, with an epic ending befitting the Apocalypse later this month, by long-time friend and colleague TraumaSutra:
De Te Fabula Narratur (TraumaSutra Remix)

They were added to the album Remixed and Reworked, listen to all 21!

You will have the opportunity to buy all remixes in one package very soon, stay tuned and… enjoy the holidays!

Thank you all for visiting Dylebient 2011!

Dylebient 2011, this first time festival was organised by Gert de Meester, and was a small but very nice and cosy festival!

The other bands were very good, thoroughly enjoyed Gerts first performance with Distant Fires Burning, Mashta Uirtu was cool as well, and also Premonition Factory was super! Amorph set us off into the night with some chilled IDM/glitch/electro.

We had a great time being there and playing. Again Mark B. did a great job as our sound engineer, thanks! Also big thumbs up for Peter G and Peter DK, joining us on stage again, this setup works out very well. :-)

Also a big thanks to all people that came to this event, not always easy for a first-time event to reach out to people, but a lot of old friends AND a lot of new ones found their way to Mechelen.

A load of pictures were taken and we will post the best ones on our Flickr page asap. There is also some video material out there so stay tuned for that as well!

Setlist was: Ossetian Ossuary – Le Jugement Du Roi En Jaune – Orbit – Love Your Terrorist – Insane Asylum – Rush Hour – DTFN – Distress – Ihtyll

The HOT 2011 Aftermath

Well, this was interesting! This has been the earliest FGG gig ever, at 1400 hours in bright daylight. Not our natural biotope at all. Yet, it was a very good one, we received some very nice comments afterwards, and the atmosphere was top!

A big thank you to the Homerecording crew, for this unique opportunity. The event was a real winner! Also thanks to all people attending the performance, and lots of familiar faces for supporting us!

Loads of thanks to our new guests on stage: Peter DK on found-percussion and Peter G playing bass clarinet, clarinet and Breton shepherds’ flute. And of course thanks to Raya, singer with Antwerp Faerie-electro band Dark Poem, lending her lovely voice to some of our songs.

This was the first time we had our new sound technician behind the desk, welcome Mark Burghgraeve! He had the difficult task to lead all this mayhem into battle and he did an awesome job! We’d like to thank our former soundman Wim for all his help at past concerts, and let it be known that we’ll meet each other again soon and often, thanks Wim!

Setlist was: Le Jugement Du Roi En Jaune – Orbit – Love Your Terrorist – Insane Asylum – Synchronism – Rush Hour – DTFN – Distress – Ihtyll
